Les bouchons sont, à l’origine, des auberges servant du vin hors des repas.

Ils se distinguaient par un bouchon de paille accroché à leur enseigne.

On y servait le mâchon, casse-croûte à base de cochonnailles arrosé de bon vin.

Aujourd’hui, ces restaurants à l’atmosphère bon enfant conservent la tradition.
